About Me  
Hello, my name is Jessica Flynn and I started practicing yoga in 2005 and have been in love with it ever since. I first was introduced to yoga at Drama school where I was studying a Bachelor of performance. At first I was amazed at the energy and strength it brought to my body but as I continued to practice I realised I was turning to yoga at times of unease, stress, and confliction and was always left feeling at peace with a new confidence and presence about my mind body and soul. Yoga is not just about gaining strength in body but it is about revealing the strength of the human spirit which is in each and everyone one of us. Yoga gives us the tools to see what is already there waiting to be discovered, in regards to the world around us and the world inside of our hearts and minds. I decided that I wanted to be able to share my passion of yoga with others so I gained my Teachers certificate in hopes to inspire, the same messages of hope, passion, confidence and spirit in others. I specialise in Hatha Yoga which is, continuous movement linked with breath. Hatha Yoga is a wonderful combination of gentle stretches to release tension, postures to align the body & enhance Energy flow, breathing techniques to further promote the energy flow of the body & relaxation to settle the nervous system & calm the mind. Furthermore, it improves oxygenation of the blood and organs, purifying the blood and strengthens it, reduces stress and continues to do so with each session. Also it promotes calmness, which helps in coping with problems & worries and improves immune system function preventing illness or inducing recovery.
