About Me  
Originally from Boulder, CO, Carrie began her yoga practice at the age of 8. Yoga brought strength, balance and centering to her perfectionist, competitive nature. Carrie has continued to turn to yoga as a critical grounding mechanism during her 15 years in dance, through law school, and in her current career as a business development executive. She has lived in DC for 8 years now, practicing yoga at numerous studios throughout the area, but it wasn’t until discovering the mind, body and spirit strengthening benefits of the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga at DMY that she truly found a yoga-home. Carrie is continuing her teacher education at DMY and learns from every person that she meets.
